Just a quick note to let you know we made it safely to Moscow today. It is Sunday, Feb. 24. This is actually a long weekend here as it is "Man Day"...which is actually some old Soviet Military holiday that is now referred to as "Man Day." All of the guys here seem to feel special...Wayne wants to have one of those days in the U.S. and I told him we already have it...it is called "Father's Day." He does not agree.
Anyway - we got our bags unpacked and have a cute little roll away bed in the room for Jakob with toys on it so he will feel more comfortable when he comes to the room....well, toys on it until he is ready to sleep (as that would not be comfortable to sleep on).
We have spent this evening with the other couples from our agency having dinner and drinks...enjoying our last "adult evening" for awhile.
We are SO EXCITED to pick up Jakob...I can't believe it is finally time. We will be heading off at 10 AM Moscow time to get him.
We will try and post again tomorrow and let everyone know how things are going.

I'm so glad that you arrived safely, and with your bags, too. It was just about 9 months ago that you viewed your fist video of Jakob. Unlike during pregnancy, we have been able to watch Jakob grow for these last 9 months, and what a joy it has been. Now the time has come to officially make him a part of our family - I'm so excited for you and him, too. Please know that you are constantly in my thoughts and prays and I can't wait for your first posting tomorrow after you have your son. He is truly a gift from God - as you are to him.
