I know I'm very behind on updating the blog (especially since we've moved back to the States), but had to quickly upload this video of Jakob getting his "Welcome Home" gift to Houston which was his new guitar! This is the day after (as the actual day of video from the day of is 10 min. long and too big to upload on this site). If you listen to the end of the last video, he is singing "Hola, Hola" so he has already picked up some Spanish!

What talent!! Jakob loves his guitar and maybe some day he will make enough money to support his mom and dad. A few lessons might be in order before that happens.
I'm sure he is loving Houston and not having to wear layers of clothes. I'm sure having a swimming pool also helps him adjust to the heat.
I really enjoyed my short visit over the 4th of July and am really glad you are closer now.
